1 Dress, 3 Ways

I love taking one item of clothing and transforming it multiple times. It really helps me creatively, and experimentally. A dress is one of the easiest pieces on your wardrobe. Don't be afraid to mix and match jackets, cardigans, and vests for completely different looks. Even jackets in the same color can create different looks based on material and cut.

OPTION 1

This is the options for taking this dress into the evening or to a special event. The jacket is cropped so it shows off the detail of the dress and creates a feminine shape. It's also a jersey which drapes around the body beautifully. Because this dress has a wider skirt, this outfit is reminiscent of the 1950's new look by DIOR, without being constumey. Wear this for an afternoon special brunch, tea, or wedding. Pop the oranges and corals with accessories for a fun twist.

OPTION 2

This is your classic drop off, running around and getting it done combination for a dress in spring and summer. Add that denim jacket in blue, cream, or any color to keep things feeling fun and fresh. Add a metallic sandal to dress it up and you're ready for the day.

OPTION 3

This is that fun option that plays with proportions and makes you feel European chic. I've added a flowyer linen blend camp jacket to match up with this structured dress. The combo is chic, but casual. Dress this option up with a mid or high heel depending on what you're doing and where you're going. Wear this option for a brunch, meeting with a client, or just because it's a Tuesday.
