1 Market Tote 3 Ways

Sometimes we purchase handbags before we think through all of the possible outfit options. When I purchased this handbag, I did just that. It wasn't an impulse buy, but it also wasn't one of my most thought through handbag purchases either.

This summer I've really been pushing myself out of my comfort zone with fashion and styling. Normally, this handbag would be way too casual for me. But this year I've been refining the mixing of styles, and I actually really love how it pairs with dressier outfits. Of course, as in the photo above, it's also a great vacation vibe handbag as well.

OUTFIT 1

A fun play on creating your own jumpsuit. Grab a tank or a tee in a similar color to your wider leg pants and you've just created a jumpsuit. Easy. This one is in navy, and I've added a striped scarf from Treasure & Bond for visual interest. The stripes on the scarf and the stripes on the handbag make this look visually interesting. It's also a little bit of a dare because of the two stripe patterns. However, everything in the base outfit is on the same color wheel, so it still works.

OUTFIT 2

This might be my favorite way to wear this bag because it's visually impactful against the black jumpsuit. I'm wearing the Evereve Scout wide leg jumpsuit which couldn't be easier. I've created a more casual outfit with some Sam Edelman slide on sandals and Nickel & Suede earrings. This is an elevated everyday kind of outfit. We're mixing high and low all over the place here, and it makes the outfit interesting and modern. Change nothing but the shoes and you're in business for business casual.
