3 Ways to Wear a colorful Skirt

It's another 3 Ways Wednesday. I am using a J Crew Factory skirt in a gorgeous bright green, and popping it with shades of white, blue, and cream. Let's dig in.

OUTFIT 1

This is a great outfit for elevating the everyday. It has whimsy and prep all rolled into one. The skirt is definitely the hero of the outfit and everything else is supporting it. Pairing this outfit with a neutral pattern like a leopard is a great way to infuse some personality and no look like you just bought it off the mannequin.

OUTFIT 2

When you're feeling a little more sporty for the weekend, this is the one to grab. This also works really well on those morning when there's a chill in the air, but it's going to warm up quickly throughout the day. This is a casual outfit for sure, so don't bring this one to work. However, if you're doing a bunch of running around and want that sporty chic look, then let this inspire you.

OUTFIT 3

This takes me back to days of prep. You have a colorful skirt with a complimentary gingham shirt in a cotton and a statement necklace to glam it up. There's some fun masculine feminine play going on as well as casual and elegant. This is a no brainer outfit. It can take you from business casual (depending on where you work) to running errands, and a casual get together. Change up your shoes and bag for more outfit options as well.
