This year I want to dedicate Wednesdays to 3 Ways to Wear. It might feature one article of clothing, or it might be a concept. I feel very passionate about wearing the clothes you owe while incorporating new clothes in. It keeps the creative juices flowing, and makes us continue to wear what we have.

OUTFIT 1
This is your get up and go outfit. You want to keep your outfit streamlined, but add some interest. Enter the boyfriend button down from Treasure & Bond and the J Crew Necklace. These two combined give off a preppy and equestrian look that takes the wool shift skirt to a fun or casual work appropriate level. When you're not sure what to wear with something take it back to basic with neutral colors and classic silhouettes. Add in a pop of glam or color and all of a sudden it's a really interesting outfit.
OUTFIT DETAILS
Top: Treasure & Bond (my color sold out, but this one would be cute too!)
Necklace: J CREW
Skirt: Ann Taylor LOFT
Shoes: Sam Edelman

OUTFIT 2:
This is the more sporty of the looks. Because of the mom jacket it even has a little edge. There are tons of textures playing in this outfit, and obvious mostly a monochromatic one as well. When you play in the same color you HAVE to mix your textures otherwise your outfit will fall flat. Also, by pairing this otherwise black outfit with a top that has just a little bit of color makes the colors really stand out. They are on the muted side, but they still read well. Add a colorful bag to play off the colors in the blouse, and fun shoes (as the weather gets warmer) and you are good to go!

OUTFIT 3
This is another workhorse outfit. Why? Because this combination of a statement sweater with the black skirt can take you anywhere. Going into the office? Check. Meeting friends for coffee? Check. Dinner plans? Check. It ticks all the boxes and you can wear this color of red right now without being reminded of holiday. This sweater will hold its value through at least February. Bonus, it's super warm and cozy. Pair this easy outfit with some delicate earrings and you are ready to walk out the door.
