Brand Spotlight: Nickel & Suede

Have you ever had the problem of earrings pulling on your ears so hard that it gives you a headache, or just hurts your ears? Enter Nickel & Suede! I found them through another Mom Blogger who was raving about these earrings. She said, that like myself, she couldn't stand to wear earrings that dangled because they were too heavy for her ears. She led me to a company called Nickel & Suede, and my friends I have purchased SO MANY of their earrings I feel very happy to share this with you as well.

THEIR STORY

Kilee Nickels is the founder and creator of Nickel & Suede. She created the company because she couldn't find her favorite statement earrings in a certain color. Being the amazing entrepreneur she is, Kilee created her own version of the statement earring and things took off. She got a cult following from people like me, and recently has opened a few store fronts to sell her earrings. They have expanded beyond the initial tear drop style, but that is still my personal favorite.

MY FAVORITES

The earrings that I wear from Nickel & Suede are leather. They come in three sizes, and they are tear dropped shape. I wear the M size and I find that they are perfect for drawing attention to my face without going overboard. They are not fancy earrings, but they are comfortable and add a certain something to an outfit when a necklace just won't do. Here are some of my favorites.

Nickel & Suede also runs monthly specials where you can get at least one earring for a discounted price. They run holiday sales as well, so with the holiday season coming faster than any of us realize it's a good time to try them out before the sales and then stock up on your favorite patterns.
