Makeup for when you're sick

There are times when we get sick for a day and then move on. Then there are time when we get sick, and it won't quit but life continues on. I'm currently going through one of those times, and I created a tutorial for all my hard working friends out there as well. Don't forget to check out the video below, or click right here. There will be links in the description bar connected to the video.

Here are a few tips to get you started:

Neutralizing the face is imperative. We're not trying to trick anyone, but we want to look a little more like ourselves. Creating a neutral palette is a great place to start. Get rid of that redness and purple under the eyes with a corrector and/or concealer.

Pick a gloss that will bring some life back to your face. Something pink or peach. Nothing too bold because you're going to be reapplying more than usual from all the nose blowing, etc.

Create a quick eye look with a cream shadow, liner, and mascara. We want to look healthier than we feel. This does not mean we have to create the best eye makeup look ever, but it does mean that we want to use lighter brighter colors in the neutral world like a light gold or copper.

Enjoy the video, and let me know how you get on.
