How to Wash Your Makeup Brushes

Recently, a subscriber reached out to me about how to take care of her makeup brushes. She had a lot of questions, and was looking for lots of detail. After talking with her, I thought it would be a great video to create on the various ways to keep your brushes clean and cared for.
TIPS
Have a stack of white washcloths that you keep handy for quick wipe downs and eyeshadow changes. It is important that they are white, because it will allow you to see that the makeup has come off. These washcloths are also great for those intermediate cleaning sessions with a quick brush cleanser, like the one from MAC.
When you are doing a deep clean with your makeup brushes, make sure to use a very gentle shampoo, or a specific brush shampoo. My all time favorite brush shampoo is a baby shampoo from the Honest Company. This shampoo cleans my brushes like no other brush shampoo, and as Caroline Hirons says "It's cheap as chips."
