July Edit

Today we are talking all things high summer. What is high summer? It's when the temps really climb and you need things in your wardrobe to keep you cool while feeling and looking your best. Here are five things to consider adding or taking back out for July

ROMPER/JUMPSUIT

This is a one and done. These are great for the weekend, travel, or those days during the week when you don't have any more juice in the tank for "what am I wearing today?". Find one that fits correctly. This is key. You might have to go up or down a size in order to get the fit right. Don't freak out if the size isn't your normal one. Remember, this is one piece of clothing that has to get your inseam, height, and middle part right. It's a tough job, but once you find a good company you'll be amazed how much you reach for it.

STRIPED SHIRT/TANK

Stripes are underrated. They aren't the new fun pattern, or flashy. However, they are classic and magically go with tons of items in your wardrobe. From shorts to skirts to pants, a striped top puts a fun sporty or European spin on your outfit.

EASY DRESS This can be any kind of throw on dress. If you like a babydoll style or something more fitted you need one. This is another one and done item in your wardrobe to keep life easy while still looking pulled together. You can also pair it with different accessories to dress it up or down. Find one in a jersey, poplin, linen, or gauze for that summer cool vibe that you'll reach for again and again.

PLAIN SHORT

You might not always be in the mood to wear a fun short, so a plain short with a little extra detail is key. Find one in a faded black, navy, or kaki for the biggest bang for your buck. I LOVE mine from Faherty with a paperbag waist detail. It defines the waist for a bit of dressed up style, but can also be easy breezy with a tank.
