What to Wear: June Events

There are so many things to celebrate this month, from Father's Day to end of the school year and more. What are you wearing to all of these events? I've got some outfit formulas to keep it easy and you looking as amazing as you feel.

OUTFIT 1

Let's start with the easiest. A dress. This can be a statement dress in a pattern, or it can be as simple as a white dress. If you caught my June Edit video (link here) then you know that a white dress is like the little black dress for summer. It can take you from grocery shopping to all the running around you do, and more. This one is a great family get together dress, or end of the school year celebration. Find one that has a little bit of detail in a length you feel comfortable with, and you'll feel and look amazing, ready to share in the celebration without over thinking your outfit.

Dress: French Connection (no longer sold, but this one is awesome!)

OUTFIT 2

Sometimes when you get invited somewhere, the weather will no cooperate. In the summer, I think wearing a dressier short is OK for certain special events. As long as you pair it with something a little dressier, like a blouse or button down. This is a great option for dinners, elevated patio get togethers, or a Wednesday.

Blouse: Evereve

Shorts: Ann Taylor LOFT (no longer sold, but these are awesome too!)

OUTFIT 3

This is the do it all option. It's not a jumpsuit, but it looks like it is. I've paired a dressier tank with a paperbag high waist pant. This combo is a guaranteed knockout, and so comfortable because the pants are linen. Make sure to add a statement piece of jewelry to keep the focus on your face instead of having the viewer's eye wash over you with nothing to rest on. This outfit is great for dance recitals, end of the year festivities, dinners, etc.

Tank: Evereve

Pants: Evereve

Necklace: Kendra Scott (no longer sold, but this one is amazing!)
