Hello everyone! Today we are talking about the next five brushes you need in your makeup brush arsenal. These brushes will help your makeup routine go from okay to great! They will also help you do your makeup more efficiently. With the right tools and knowledge you can do anything. Let's get started!

1. BRONZER BRUSH
A bronzer brush is going to be your best friend in the summer when you want a sun kissed glow, and in the winter when you need to warm up your complexion. Something like the BK BEAUTY #103 is great for a more natural look. If you want a more contoured look, then go for something like the BK BEAUTY #107 that will chisel your cheek bones while blending out the edges for a seamless look. Remember to use the tip of the brush for the application and then the full force of the brush to blend out.

2. DUO FIBRE BRUSH
A duo fibre brush is a secret weapon in a lot of makeup artist's kits. I've seen it used on movie sets for a full face, or a finishing brush. Personally, I like to use mine with liquid blush and highlighter. Mine is a smaller version of the MAC 187S, but depending on what you're using it for this brush would be great for a seamless and airbrushed finish foundation and highlighter.

3. BLENDED CREASE BRUSH
Holy smokes! This brush is the best starter eye makeup brush I've ever come across. I use this brush everyday, and it never lets me down. I used to use a similar brush from another company which I really had to break in before it worked it's magic, but the #201 Blended Crease brush from BK BEAUTY is amazing. It is dense and fluffy at the same time. This brush is best used as your first eyeshadow brush to create a gentle crease definition, and lay down your color all over the lid without going overboard. Let the brush do all the work for you and gently blend your eyeshadow onto your skin.

4. SHADER BRUSH
Something like this is replacing your fingers for your all over lid color. It will give you a more precise application and create a more professional look. Use the tip of this brush on your lower lash line for a soft yet defined line as well. My recommendation is the #203 BK BEAUTY Shader Brush.

5. SMALL ANGLED BRUSH
When choosing a small angled brush keep a few things in mind. What are you using it for? Do you need it to fill in your brows? You want something thinner and more hairlike. Do you want a liner brush? Depending on your eye shape and lid size choose appropriately. Do you need both? Choose a brush that is in between. The brush I've been using in a lot of my makeup tutorials is the Sigma E65 Small Angled Brush. It works for powders in the brow and gel for my lid. This is a wider angled brush, which works for liner looks on larger lids or for those who like a thicker line.
I hope this blog was helpful to navigate all the makeup brushes that are out there. I know it can feel overwhelming and confusing, so please don't hesitate to ask questions in the comments, and be sure to let me know how you get on with your brush selection.
