First of all, congratulations to all my brides out there! Your big day is going to be incredible, and I'm here to give some inspiration for your wedding makeup. There's nothing that can throw a person into a tizzy quite like a wedding. It's a wonderful day full of love, celebration, and lots of photographs. You've picked your life long partner, your perfect dress, and now you're wondering what you're supposed to do about makeup.

This is a look for all my natural brides out there. Maybe you don't wear a lot of makeup, or maybe you just want a clean classic look for the wedding. Regardless, this classic bridal look is a great place to start. Let's get into some tips and tricks for your big day, and don't forget to watch the makeup tutorial on Friday for even more insight.
Before starting any makeup application it is imperative that you prepare the skin. This also includes the weeks before your wedding. Please get yourself on a good skincare routine at least a month out which should include a cleanser, serum, and moisturizer (at least). You will use these day and night, and you should be drinking your weight in water. Trust me this is a game changer.
On to the makeup. Get help picking your foundation shade from a professional. There are a ton of great foundations out there for all the different skin types. Make sure it is right for you and your skin type. Also, because you'll be getting your picture taken in a lot of different lighting you will want to wear more makeup than perhaps you are used to. A wedding is a long day, and your makeup needs to last all day long. Light layers are key to having your makeup last.
Another necessity is to use products like eyeshadow primer. This will make your eyeshadow stick to the skin in a way that it can't without this product. Also, be sure to lightly press your products into the skin. The more you can press and roll the longer they will last. My last tip for this look is matching your blush with your lips. If you do a rosy lip like I did, then you need a rosy blush. This makes the makeup look natural, effortless, and cohesive.
