Welcome back to another cool warm beauty look. I've been messing around with variations on these looks, and I have to say, that at this time of year they are the best. I do my makeup first before getting dressed most days, and this ensures that my makeup will look great with whatever I decide to wear. I've also started playing around with my liquid liner again, and I think as the lighting (sunlight for my non photographer readers...I know) of the days gets darker and we start wearing darker colors this is totally appropriate. Here are some before and afters of the look.

WHY THIS WORKS
This look is hinting at a red lip look, without all the fuss. Once again, Lisa Eldridge has made a gorgeous Lucent Lip Colour, Painterly. It is a chocolate red. Because it is one of her lucent lip products, it will not fade in funny ways on the lips if you eat something oily. Or if you eat something. Oh yes, my friends. Beware oily foods when wearing long lasting or bold lip colors. The oil in the food will break down your lip in very unflattering ways. I decided to keep the tone of the lip and placed Lisa's Embrace Gloss Muse on top for added moisture. You could also use something pink like Petal or Charm to brighten it up if your outfit for that day requires it.
This makeup look is great for day, night, and everything in between. You look fall fresh, and the hardest thing about the look is adding in a little liquid liner for a wing. This look goes great with all those fall neutrals as well.
LIQUID LINER CONSIDERATIONS
Something to remember, if this is your first time using liquid liner. Go slowly and do it in small stages. Little dots, little dashes, just do little bits at a time. I like to use liquid liner on the wings instead of the entire eye because I find it more flattering, less intense of an eye look, and my wings stay sharp all day long.
Be sure to also take a step back and look at both eyes. Are your wings even and at the same angle? If you need a quick fix, grab your eyeshadow primer. It has so much silicone in there that it can act like a magic eraser and really crisp up your lines.
Enjoy the full tutorial tomorrow, and I be sure to stop back this Saturday for more skincare and next week when I talk about Yayoi Kusama's autobiography: Infinity Net.
