Makeup to Wear with your Winter Whites

This winter I have just been going bananas over winter whites. What are winter whites? Really anything from a crisp white to a soft tan. Combine all of these together and it brings a freshness to your outfits. Along with this idea of using softer whites around the face comes the question, what makeup should I wear? In the winter I like to go a little bolder on the lips because it brings some color and life to the face the way bronzer does in the summer.

I also feel like you can't beat a pinky berry color on the lips and cheeks in the winter. February, for me, the tail end of winter. I'm ready to start busting out of the warmer shades of corals, reds, and nudes. This is my last chance (only in my head) to wear those cooler berries for a while...or at least until April and May when I desperately need navy back in my life in a big way.

If you've been watching my videos for a while you know I love to mix and match my lip products for a unique color. In this tutorial I've combined Lisa Eldridge's Rosy Shell (bubblegum pink) and Rose Official (standard English Rose) together to create a lip with impact. This has blue and neutral undertones to it so it really livens up fair skin in the winter. Enjoy the tutorial, and let me know how you get on in the comments below.
