Mother's Day Makeup

However you choose to celebrate this weekend, I've got a great elevated everyday look for you.

This look centers around clean and glowy skin with a pop on the eyes and supporting lips. How do we achieve this? Keep reading.

When you want a very cohesive makeup look using your face products on your eyes is a great way to go. Don't be afraid to try using your bronzer as an eyeshadow. It's a subtle color and skin tone friendly shade. It also creates this visual cohesion on the face because you have the same shade in multiple places. Feel free to dip into your blush as well for a topper in the crease. I did this trick in my Ophelia tutorial as well.

When I want emphasis on the eyes without doing smokey shadows I go bold with the liner. If you are getting your photograph taken I love doing black or really dark brown. The camera loves contrast between the lash line and the whites of your eyes. If you want something a bit more subtle then feel free to layer some eyeshadow or gel liner in a subtle shade over the black liner. You will get longevity and subtly at the same time.

Enjoy the tutorial! All link are listed in the description box here. Thank you for reading, and have a fabulous weekend.
