Summer Sparkle Makeup

Sometimes you just need a little sparkle in your life. We're at the beginning of summer, and I'm reminded that it's a wonderful time to experiment and bring a festive vibe to your makeup. There are plenty of things to celebrate this summer, so why not add a touch of grown up glitter?

When you want a little grown up glitter there are three brands I would go to first: Bobbi Brown, Charlotte Tilbury, and Lisa Eldridge. These women are incredible leaders in the world of makeup and beauty. Today, I've chosen a Bobbi Brown luxe eyeshadow in Moonstone. It's one that I've had my eye on since it launch several years ago when I was freelancing for the brand. It comes in a beautiful gold and black case. Sturdy enough not to break the shadow if you drop it (or little hands do), yet compact enough to throw in your travel bag for an extra pop of fun.

Summer is a great time to experiment, or play with different kinds of makeup trends. You're probably wearing more saturated colors in your clothing and showing more skin. A great way to bring the focus back to the face is a statement lip or a little extra something on the eyes.
