The Queen Makeup Tutorial

I loved reading about the late queen in Andrew Morton's book, but I also picked up Sali Hughes' book Our Rainbow Queen (which is such a fun read) to further my understanding of the how the late Queen liked to wear her makeup.

The biggest take away from reading Sali's book was that the Queen has to look timeless. She is more than a woman. She is the representative of an entire kingdom and must be able to be photographed at almost any moment. She cannot be too trendy, glamorous, etc. There must be something classic and timeless about her look in order to represent her job.

The best thing about this makeup is that it is impactful. This makeup is also great for lots of different ages. The late queen was alive for a very long time, and the Queen's makeup as she got older became lighter and brighter around her eyes for maximum impact and to make her eyes appear bigger.
